I have no HANGUPS about bringing up being a nudist. I'm on other sites, not pertaining to locating nudists, but dating sites. Where I have posted that I am affiliated with AANR and even mentioned my local sun club. I don't come out and say I am a nudist because I don't want the wrong kind of gents writing to me. For the wrong reason.. Of course, that is no guarantee, that I still won't get some characters.

However, it takes trust and communication to see who is for real..and who is trying to expose themselves in the wrong way. I can see through the way they communicate to me. After awhile, there true selves comes out of hiding.

Even on Nudist Friends.. what you see on here is not always visible right off. I wish, others would write on the blogs.. I don't mean to take over the blogs.. lol Honestly.. just like to express my views.. and to see others respond with there views. It gives more insight of that person.

Profiles give some idea, of who that person is..But posting on the blogs, shows a different side of that person. After awhile, you begin to see regulars posting most of the time.. Like myself here.. I begin to feel, like I know the regulars, even if I have never met them. Probably never will meet them.. ;(

However, it does make me feel, like we are friends.. ;) Does anyone else feel that way about being OPEN about NUDISM? Also, about feeling a FRIENDSHIP forming from the ones that post on the BLOGS? Just wondering...

Have a Good Nude Day..... Leah

Hi Leah,

It is good to get to know someone before committing yourself, or at least meet in groups. There are some people who miss the fact that nudity is fun in itself. When I tried somewhere else, I was amazed that most of the profiles that I read where based on people wanting a quick thrill. If nothing else, I found out that nudism/naturalism was the main reason why I stayed on that site for about two months.

Unless it becomes a problem for my new girlfriend, I believe that I will remain on this site for a good while. I feel welcome here.

Sincerely, Rickels

FROSTY>> All I can say, is that you will be fine. Once you experience Glen Eden Sun Club for the first time, you will understand my passion for going there.

If you can, try and stay longer at G.E. so you can really experience all the activites that go on during the weekend. More people are there on the weekends. We get people from all over the world. It is quite a experience meeting new faces.. I just love it. ;) I know it will be a positive experience for you.. ;)

Looking forward to meeting you.. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Best regards.. and of course bare hugs.. Leah

leah,
I am just to new to know what my reaction at a resort may be. I am afraid I may be all eyes.
Never the less I am planning a visit to Glen Eden in march to initiate myself to this lifestlye.

We are very open about it, even have a bumber sticker exclaiming we r nudists. All our friends and family know, even our coworkers. A few have joined us at home and at the resort we go to, but most are closed minded, and still think nude equals sex. We try to explain to them it does not, but most still dont believe

I would like to be more open about my partaking in clothing optional recreation, but given the wide variety of circles I run, I'd rather get to know the people first before actually divulging certain information.

*Chuckling* Although this does give a bit of a thought-provoking article for my next blog (actually two new ones are planned).

After reading lonelynudes post I begin to wonder if I should be open about my nudism. I'm about to start a new job and I'd like to tell people about me but I don't think I should tell people right away or even at all. I only told a female friend that I'm a nudist and she got so closed off so quickly I havn't heard from her since. Rather sad really, she was supposed to be open minded and I would have wanted to start a family with her one day. Anyway how do I get to the point to where I can be honest about my self to others?

Hi guys. I am a first time poster but a long time reader of the blogs. Leah rock and that's all I have to say about that.(Tmalle go play traffic and find someone else to bother) In all honestly I am a nudist during the summer months. Gets to cold here to go nude in the winter. Beside I find I enjoy going nude even more after the winter of being bundled up. I love to swim nude but like alot of people my family and friends are more conservative when it comes to nudism. I know not everyone is into nudism. So I try to be respectful of when and where I practice it. I think the human body is a beautiful thing. I think KaiThuy, Leah and Mood4nude and a few others have the right idea bout nudism. So I applaud you, the keepers of what nudism. Let the generosity of your hearts never fail.

Leah,

You seem like a fine lady. I have to admit I'm a bit jealous that you are able to work in a Nudist environment. Perhaps that helps you to be more open about your lifestyle. There are a lot of people as open about their nudism as you are.

For myself, if the opportunity arises I tell people I am a Nudist/Naturist. I do look for those doors of opportunity, however I do not have it painted on my forehead. So far some of my family, friends and fellow workers, know I am a Nudist. And many more will find out as time goes on. I involve myself in numerous nudist resorts and events. Not by just attending but by being active in helping with and promoting these events.

I like your idea about posting you are an AANR member on other sites. Uhmmm I may use that in the future myself. A good way to open the door to a conversation about Nudism.

I find it very disheartening that society for the most part still does not understand our lifestyle. Especially, when we are suppose to be so enlightened. But still people like Lonelynudie, and a couple others I know can and do lose their jobs when others use it against them. Hey, Lonelynudie, have you tried checking with AANR. Don't they have a legal department?

Well, as you can see I also enjoy the blog section on this site. It always make me happy to put in my two cents worth..giggle And yes I agree it could be a way to make some good friends.

Have a great day everyone...Relax...Enjoy and be Nude,
Susan

(My apologies, if you can not see my profile yet...it is pending approval.)

Religion should be liberating; it shouldn't be a "cage."

My fiancee and I have been to Haulover, so I am open with her. As for friends and colleagues, the answer is "no." Sadly, many people view naturism as a collection of people you wouldn't want to see nude justifying their exhibitionism. They don't understand body acceptance, a theology of liberation and openness, freedom, and so forth.

Leah,

I find it interesting how people have never grown up enough to get free from the cages they live in, such as the religion cage, social mores cage, inability to accept themselves and others as basically the same, so why be phased about it? Whenever I'm home, I just take off eveything and feel totally unstressed and just good. If folks could explore naturism for the good that it is, the world would be a much better place where no one has anything to hide or a front to justify their worth. We need to be more 'evangelistic' about the need to be naked and love it.
Incidentally, the Bible doesn't say negatives about nudity, one has to read into it carefully. In Genesis, it is mentioned about shame on Adam for his nakedness- refers not to nudity but his shame for disobeying God. Funny how bigots can't or won't get it for no other reason than to control the ignorant and faith-based gullible.

TIMCHIZMAR>>>>>>
Yes, we are really close.. I use to live in Corona, up until 4 yrs ago.. Now, I'm in Riverside.. You really should check out Glen Eden Sun Club sometime soon.. Well, it would be better if the weather was warmer. Looks like it might get up to the middle 70s this weekend. Been way to cold for me to work in the nude there. When it is cold, I'm allowed to wear clothes.. lol As G.E. is not a clothing optional club.. but nudists are not dumb.. lol We do wear clothes if the weather is cold.

So your a comic? I'm curious as to what jokes you do at these comedy clubs.. I do hope, they show a positive outlook about nudism ... Because some people look at nudist clubs/resorts/camps as being lewd and promiscuous
when we know that is not the case.

We would like to show some humor in this lifestyle but not to where it would be downgrading.. if that makes any sense at all? So what comic clubs do you perform at? Maybe, I can get a group of my friends from G.E. come and visit you. Let me know.. ok?

Have a Happy Nude Day... Leah
